Description

Included:

Kel-Tec P-3AT with Crimson Trace Laserguard
This configuration couples the ultra-compact Kel-Tec P-3AT .380 ACP pistol with the Crimson Trace LG-430 Laserguard. The LG-430 was specifically engineered for the P-3AT (and P-32) platform to address the challenge of aiming a pocket pistol with rudimentary sights under high stress. The unit attaches seamlessly to the trigger guard, placing a laser diode immediately below the muzzle for improved low-light sighting without significantly altering the pistol's profile.

Key Features

Instinctive Activation: The defining feature of the Crimson Trace Laserguard. A pressure switch is located on the front strap of the grip (under the trigger guard). The laser activates automatically when the shooter establishes a firm, natural firing grip, requiring no separate mechanical switch manipulation.

Seamless Integration: The polymer housing of the LG-430 is contoured to match the P-3AT's frame texture and lines, ensuring it does not snag during the draw.

Enhanced Sighting: The P-3AT is known for having very low-profile, machined-in sights that can be difficult to see in dark or dynamic situations. The laser projects a bright dot (typically red) on the target, allowing for "point shooting" without needing to align the eye behind the slide.

Adjustability: The laser unit is user-adjustable for both windage (horizontal) and elevation (vertical), allowing the point of aim to be zeroed to the ammunition being used.

Battery Efficiency: Powered by a single 1/3N lithium battery (or two 357 silver oxide batteries), providing approximately four hours of continuous runtime.

Common Applications

Low-Light Defense: Ideal for scenarios where identifying the sights is impossible due to darkness.

Non-Standard Shooting Positions: Allows the shooter to aim effectively even if they cannot bring the gun up to eye level (e.g., firing from the hip or while on the ground).

Dry-Fire Training: The laser provides immediate visual feedback on trigger control; if the dot streaks across the wall when the trigger breaks, the shooter knows they are pulling the gun off target.

Training Note: For instructors, Ring's Manufacturing produces a specific "Blue Gun" replica of this exact configuration (Part # FSKTP3ATCT) to allow for safe holster fitting and retention drills with the laser profile.
