The FNX-40 is the successor to the FNP-40 and serves as the .40 S&W middle sibling of the FNX family. It is a traditional DA/SA (Double Action/Single Action) hammer-fired pistol, designed for those who prefer the tactile feedback of a hammer and the versatility of a manual safety/decocker over modern striker-fired alternatives.
