The Taurus PT 24/7 is a series of semi-automatic pistols that marked the Brazilian manufacturer's major entry into the polymer-framed, striker-fired market. PT 24/7 OSS: Developed for the USSOCOM service pistol trials. It features a 5.25-inch match-grade barrel, a decocker, and was designed to withstand extreme endurance testing.
24/7 G2 (Generation 2): A complete redesign that merged features from the 800-series. It added a trigger safety blade and improved modularity, including interchangeable backstraps to fit different hand sizes.
Critical Safety Note: The "Carter" Class Action Recall
The original PT 24/7 series (manufactured between 1997 and 2013) was part of a major safety recall and class-action settlement.
