Individual Kit (CCRK) - DUC

The CCRK Individual Kit is a portable Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) that contains essential medical supplies to treat the three leading causes of preventable combat death: severe bleeding, tension pneumothorax, and airway obstruction.

It is housed in a durable 500D CORDURA nylon pouch with water-resistant zippers and MOLLE-compatible attachments, allowing it to be mounted on a vest, belt, or leg rig for quick access during operations.

The kit typically includes critical trauma equipment such as:

Combat Application Tourniquet (C-A-T) for severe bleeding

HyFin chest seal for penetrating chest wounds

Nasopharyngeal airway for airway management

Needle decompression kit for tension pneumothorax

Emergency trauma dressing and gauze for wound packing

Eye shield, gloves, and casualty reference/triage cards for treatment and documentation

The "DUC" color refers to the camo pattern (Desert/Universal Camouflage) option of the pouch.
