The Clarius C3 Premium Ultrasound Scanner is a game changer when it comes to ultrasound technology. Images are transmitted wirelessly to almost any iOS or Android smart device via a point-to-point Wi-Fi connection, so no Internet connection is required to transmit images. The resolution of the Clarius Ultrasound scanners is on par with the best traditional point-of-care systems, and the device was built with durability in austere environments in mind with a sealed magnesium shell that is durable and waterproof up to 30 minutes at 1 meter immersion depth. Ease of use is also simplified as the frequency and gain settings are automated. The C3 Model has a Convex probe designed for frequencies of 2-6MHz and depths of 3-30cm. The C3 is designed for scanning a patient's torso, featuring outstanding resolution for abdominal and lung images and a cardiac option to activate the virtual phased array mode for cardiac imaging through the ribs.
